Two Days Workshop on Natural Farming and Water Conservation Methods

This workshop on explaining the basic principle of Zero Budget Natural Farming is conducted for the farmers and farming passionate urban residents. The workshop was conducted for two days. While Natural Farmer Sri Narayana Reddy explained Natural Farming for first day, Sri Dr. Ayyappa Masagi explained Water Conservation Techniques on second day.

The Workshop was conducted by Sri Yerritatha Temple Trust, Agriculture Department, LSIKC and MHR Foundation of India.

Topics covered on the first day were:

Necessity of Farming in the current period, Problems faced by Farmers, Difference between Chemical, Organic and Natural Farming, Benefits of Natural Farming to Nature, Farmer and Consumer, Role of Microbes in Farming, List of false practices followed by Farmers in Farming, Science behind Plants and its Development, Green Revolution and its Impacts, What is Zero Budget Natural Farming and its advantages, Methods of Vegetable Model, Fruit Model, Cereal Crop Model in ZBNF, Details on Multi-cropping farming methods in ZBNF, Pest Management and Water Management in ZBNF, Marketing Insights for the Agriculture Produce, Questions and Answer Session related to agriculture.

Topics Covered on the second day were:

Explanation on the water level, Ground Water Level, Source of Water at Ground Water Level, How to increase the water level in the ground water level, Preserving the water on upper ground level and lower ground level, how to preserve the water in rainy season and minimize the water consumption in agriculture, increasing bore-well water level in the urban and rural areas.
